Prompt: "What if I teamed up with Buffy to defeat Angelus?"

Spike watched Dru and her cohorts drag the Watcher out of the school. Minutes later, the Slayer came running at full gallop.

He almost stepped out from behind his tree, almost stopped her as she crossed the parking lot and headed for the stairs. But no. Not yet. The look on her face was one of determination.

He'd hold out a little longer. He was hoping for desperate before showing himself.

It was the best - and perhaps only - chance he had at getting her to go along with his fucked up proposition and not stake him on sight.

Tbh, a proper 100-words-exactly drabble still feels like cheating to me. I have difficulties with not writing long, which is why I am in this comm to begin with :) Glad you like it, tho!

It shouldn't to. A proper drabble is an artform. Like a haiku. :)

True, true :) Difficult, though, to capture a moment and everything that happens in one's mind, in just a hundred words. Bit like poetry, in a way.

(which totally should have been one of the challenges in this game btw, I'd rather write a poem than a meta >__>)
