A little peek at what happened to Buffy while Spike was... wherever he went when he disappeared for good in the world of Things That Go Bump in the Night (A long fic in which Spike had been a ghost with amnesia for a long time until something sparked his memories. As soon as that happened, he began to “move on” from the curse that kept him trapped in an old house. Given that he and Buffy had been quite happy there since she found him, watching him disappear completely has not made Buffy a happy girl… Although she refuses to cry for him in spite of Willow's insistence that she isn't leaving until she knows Buffy will be all right. That bit of Buffy's thinking about her situation, is followed by a short scene that could have been stuck into the very end of the story, but wasn't. :)
